Oh, I know that ;D In university we'd always have these painful weeks. It's funny though, the first two/three weeks of the month would have like no homework. Then all of a sudden a whole bunch of projects and were do and we would just cry. Many, many all-nighters :(
I don't want to go off-topic though, but there were some interesting stories if anyone cares (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) One involves me and an ambulance. |

For our Leadership class we had to write 6 journals over the course of the semester. Now OBVIOUSLY everyone decides to save these until the last week. So I start on Monday and I'm writing about 2,000 words per night. The thing was due Wednesday morning before class ;) I was under the impression it was 6 - 12 pages double spaced. Instead I found Tuesday that it's single-spaced. Essentially this came to well over 5,000 words x.x It was the worst thing I've probably ever had to write on such short notice. When I was going into that day I was thinking I'd get this done no problem, but oh no D:
Alright, so back at my room writing away and some friends are in the same boat as me. Two of my friends and roommate come over and we're all working away. This was actually really awesome (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) We joked around like all night and eventually they both ended up staying until morning. I finished around 2:00 am, but the others weren't done and I wanted to enjoy the night so I stayed up with them. We got done at around 7 with only a few minutes before it was due. So I was exhausted just like them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif) One friend figured he'd go to the breakfast in the dining room so I tagged along before heading off to class at 9:30. I was completely drained having literally stayed up all night and then heading to class. I can't even describe how awkward that is o.0 Just thinking that you never went to sleep, you were actually awake from the last class at night until the one in the morning. It's extremely weird (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) But um, I kept dozing off in class. When it finally ended I rushed back home and just died. So uh, I wake up and it's 7:00 PM. I had a long nap. Horrible feeling when I woke up and lots of people were in my room. Just some friends playing Smash Bros. I don't mind, but it was so weird to wake up like that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) And um, I'm completely starving at this point. I have this horrible, horrible pain in my stomach and I just need to eat. So I finally convince a friend of mine to go down to McDonald's with me for food. We walked there whilst I was feeling ill. We talked about dog tags :) (I know McDonald's was not the best choice, but given the options at that time it was food.) We're in line, I order. And I'm waiting for my food. Just all of a sudden my stomach is in immense pain. I just couldn't wait a few seconds for my food, and I was like tripping out of line nearly falling to the floor. I eventually run to the washroom to throw up. Next the food is thankfully there but I can't eat. I'm starving, there's food in front of me, and I can't eat. My friend eventually called the ambulance after some people nearby suggested it. The staff at McDonald's were actually incredibly helpful. The ambulance comes, they check my signs and say I'm okay. They asked if I drank or did drugs XP I eventually just decided not to go because I couldn't go through with it. The thought of needles makes me queasy D: We then went back in so he could his food (they actually threw it out but happily remade it - they're really good people there!) and then he helped me get home on the bus. I nearly threw up along the way but he helped me not to. He's really an amazing friend. For someone who barely knew me, for only a few months then, it really showed he cared. I don't think I'd ever be able to do something as nice as him :( He actually stayed for a few hours until I fell asleep. It was probably the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me and I can't thank him enough for his help. I sent a little e-mail when I woke up but that was about it XP He brings the occasion up now and then and refuses to go with me to eat sometimes, but I can't blame him (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) And lastly, I woke up that night in complete pain again and ended up sleeping on the floor for a bit :) I was just thankful I got to go home hom the next day. People in class were worried about me D: Wow, talk about a rant. |

I like breadfruit better, mostly just because it sells for more.
Also it's prettier. ;D |
