Okay, so I've been playing for about 15 minutes... I haven't met everyone in the town yet (I'm in the middle of doing so) but here are some of the things I've noticed so far.

-Loading times are roughly 2-3 seconds for buildings, 4-5 seconds for large outdoor areas.
-Time flow: 10 seconds = 10 minutes in-game time. That means the days are twice as long as ToT's (which makes sense, because the maps are a lot bigger)
-Time stops indoors. So you can loiter around people's houses and shops as much as you want. :D
-Totally different sound effects and soundtrack from ToT. Which is really nice, because the text scrolling noise in ToT was very loud (it was removed in the US version). Depending who you talk to, the pitch of the text sound is different (kind of like their "voice"). I haven't heard any actual voice acting for this game. Which means no poorly dubbed voiceovers in the US release. \o/
-The graphics have been improved. While the meshes all look the same so far, they have more mobility (like, Cathy's ponytail swishes around a bit when she walks), people have a much wider range of expressions, and the textures are of a much higher resolution.
-There are lots of events. The social interaction that I have seen, so far, feels more "personal" (and/or personable?) than other HM games. Even the regular townspeople get more lines.
-The "cutscene" when talking to people or animals, especially animals-- is much quicker.

So far, it feels substantially different from Tree of Tranquility.

eh... I still think their hair is too dark and eyes too light but hey, its not like its gonna affect me. so who cares?

Right when I was about to record the 2nd part of my EAM tour. I realized the plug/power adaptor to my Wii is DEAD. Somehow. So it won't turn on. :<
I do have another one for the US Wii that works downstairs... but I don't think my sister will be too happy if I use it... so uh, I don't know when I will be able to continue playing games and/or uploading videos...

For that matter, I don't have enough money to buy a replacement. Gahhh.

^ Is that top picture Gods Son (WOW JESUS) or it could be Ose's I guess... He looks a little like he is raving... YAY RAVING BABY!

To get that son you have to have a son first born and marry the right person of couse... So it doesn't really matter about the questions, just let the spouce determin the gender and it will resemble them...

The bottom picture could be of Chihyaya's first son, or maybe Sheila's because the eye colour is purple, but its hard to make out the hair colour, but it does look more like Chiyaya's kid...

Edit: I just checked and it is Chiyaya's kid

Has anyone actually had two off the same gender kids? You never see any pictures of kids of the same gender... I SHALL BE A REBEL AND HAVE TWO SONS (Or maybe Daughters if Roomi wants a fist born girl).

I dont know but yeah you should let you spose chose the first one so you can have one that looks cool and then pick boy/girl...

^ Yahh... But there is a better chance of it resembling the character so it may just be easier to let the spouce decide...

I AM STARTING TO PANIC... I Know some Japanese, I can read some comman kanji and diffrent combinations of them... BUT I HAVE JUST BEEN LOOKING AT THE BELL QUESTS AND THEY SEEM NEAR IMPOSSIBLE WHEN YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE READING... Is the game fairly easy to understand or am I going to have to sit at my TV with my little dictionary and nearly in tears reading the opening story diologue?

When was that said?
Anyway, in the opening credits the male character married Candace and had two kids there. One had blue hair like Candace and the other child had brown hair like the male character.
