actually thats incorrect. theres a commercial that shows the protagonist with Gills son, taking a picture with both of them, while holding a new born baby son. so in the commercial, the son was obviously older. sorry, but I just killed your theory.

If Gill doesn't have a preference, then no, that didn't just kill the theory. ...Besides, how do you know that was a son? It was still a baby. ...Unless I'm missing something here. |

In the japanese version of the games (ToT and EAM), a blue blanket warrents a boy, while a pink blanket merits a girl.

The babies all have blue cocoons--er, blankets regardless of gender. Except for rival kids. For some reason, they get blue and pink blankets. But baby girls have bunny hats and baby boys have kitty hats. |

That could be a problem for me. |

Now that I have seen Gil's daughter it made me think... perhaps the spouse's gender preference doesn't maybe count for as much as your's does... so like when you pick a girl it will allways be a girl, but when the spouse picks picks the child it kinda makes it just a higher chance of that gender... Which makes a little sence because Juli wanted Dio to be a girl, but he isn't... GO THEORYS *Grooves Privetly* ... Even though I am most likly worng... GAH and sorry if this theory is un-original and someone already posted it... BUT I DONT CARE AS I HAVE POSTED IT WITH MEE ATTACHED TO IT!!!

When the topic comes up just look for a Kanji that is kinda like a window on top of Katakana Ka 男for boy or a crosslegged person resting a baby on their legs 女for girl... KANJI FOR MORONS YAY... It's how I learned the Kanji I know... GO RANDOM PICTURE ASSIGNING! |

Actually, Juli said "I would prefer a girl, but a boy would be nice too." And please don't double post, just edit your last post. |

Then I guess with some spouses, you have a 50% chance of either if you ask them to choose.

Nurse Fin thinks you cant have the same gender that looks the same. which means if you let your spouse pick both times they HAVE to pick different genders. which means they have to have preference on at least one child. |

I meant for the first child...I guess I wasn't specific enough. |

I meant for the first child...I guess I wasn't specific enough. you werre specific enough. its just, I still think its personality that decides their looks, so I wasnt specific enough when I meant that they are most likely going to have preference in their first child. |

Well there's only one way to see which theory holds up...test with each personality on the first born. That's probably the easiest and fastest way. Though, it'll take years for it to be localized. -sigh- |

I'm pretty sure all older sisters have long hair, and all younger sisters have short hair... same with the brothers, like the older brother has straight plain hair and the younger brother has the spiky hair...
Now, the real test is, is it possible to have the child resemble the spouse if YOU pick the gender? That's more what I'm wondering. |

Well, I'd assume it would take after you instead, but then again, there aren't pictures of non-brunette spouses with brown-haired kids. It's a mystery only Marvelous knows. :O

That's more what I'm wondering. but Nurse Fin, we're confused on that theory. the age is what we THOUGHT it was, but then we saw a pic of Gill's daughter with long hair. clearly in the commercial we saw he had a son first. we want to know is does he have a preference for the first child. cuz if he does, and he wants a son, then it HAS to be personality that gave his second born daughter long hair. EDIT: oh wait! if you pick a kid and they can look like the spouse it would all make sense! cuz you'd pick the daughter first and she could look like Gill. but if that doesn't work and they only look like the spouse if the spouse picks the gender... |
