Are the tracks any good? I heard the original soundtrack they did in the late 80's, and some awful fanmade stuff, and so far the best renditions of the songs have been the ones they put in SSB and the 1+2 soundtrack that my brother downloaded

I think it's pretty good. It's not like the official stuff though, since I don't think they did anything techno-y. Well, aside from their PSI Remixes that were kinda meh.

I haven't paid for an entire album in ages.

I guess the last one was James Blunt's "All the Lost Souls".

[attachment=122:jamesblu...stsoubu6.jpg]

"1973" – 4:40
"One of the Brightest Stars" – 3:12
"I'll Take Everything" – 3:05
"Same Mistake" – 4:59
"Carry You Home" – 3:57
"Give Me Some Love" – 3:37
"I Really Want You" – 3:30
"Shine On" – 4:27
"Annie" – 3:29
"I Can't Hear the Music" – 3:45

Plenty of people have told me I have a horrible taste in music, but that's alright. :D

Apart from that, I usually just download a song or two off of iTunes, or have a friend burn me a CD of some of their favourite songs.

Recently I've been listening to a song or two from Menomena, Scissor Sisters, Sufjan Stevens, Peace Orchestra, and some of Gounod's "Faust".

Yeah... I don't really have a specific taste. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

EDIT: Oh, and yeah. My best friend's new ring tone is "Handlebars" by Flobots, and she plays it a lot, so I've started to like it too. Same with some other songs I hear on VH1 and stuff.

The last cd I bought was nightmare revisited (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif)
It's basically a remake of the Nightmare Before christmas soundtrack but different bands have contributed to it!
Here's the Tracks on it:
1. Overture-Devotchka
2. Opening-Danny Elfman
3. This is Halloween-Marilyn Manson
4. Jack's Lament-The All-American Rejects
5. Doctor Finklestein/In the Forest-Amiina
6. What's this-Flyleaf
7. Town Meeting Song-The Polyphonic Spree
8. Jack and Sally Montage-The Vitamin String Quartet
9. Jack's Obsession-Sparklehorse
10. Kidnap the Sandy Claws-Korn
11. Making Christmas-Rise Against
12. Nabbed-Yoshida Brothers
13. Oogie Boogie's Song-Rodrigo Y Gabriela
14. Sally's Song-Amy Lee
15. Christmas Eve Montage-Rjd2
16. Poor Jack-Plain White T's
17. To the Rescue-DataRock
18. Finale/Reprise-Shiny Toy Guns
19. Closing-Danny Elfman
20. End Title-The Album Leaf
This album is great but my favorites on here are Sally's song(because it's sung by amy lee and it's beautiful!) and Making Christmas(because I love Rise Against's remake of this song)

I can't remember the last time I bought a real CD. :/ That makes me almost feel bad until I remember that up here in Canada, there aren't any laws against downloading music. :D

The last album I downloaded must have been Citizen Cope. I only wanted their one song that I love ("Let the Drummer Kick"), the rest of the CD kind of sucks actually. I'm glad I didn't spend money on it.

Yeah, pretty much all my music these days comes from borrowing a CD and ripping it or downloading songs. I don't think I even know anyone who really buys CDs anymore. Last CD I bought was John Henry by They Might Be Giants, at one of their concerts and they signed it. This was like, four years ago, and I have since given the CD away to a friend before she went off to college.

Ooh. I'll be updating this topic fairly frequently... well, hopefully not by myself. But I buy CDs constantly.

Just bought 702: Star, 3LW: A Girl Can Mack, and Dream: It Was All A Dream. Just went on a early 00's girl group kick for a moment there.
