(Nurse Fin's) Exciting Animal March: A First Look, Observations about the game Options

Wow I stop coming here for a few weeks and now I see all this new info of Exciting Animal March. Before there was next to none and now we have videos and stuff. Man I need to catch up on my HM game. I havn't even gotten ToT yet.

Gosh! I can't decide who's kid is who, If its OwenxKathy or OwenxSheila or LukexSheila or LukexKathy! >< There are signs pointing to both, as Owen's kid's hair seems to fade to blonde almost at the ends, yet Luke's daughter's bangs look a lot more similar to Kathy's. Plus, there is a possibility of Sheila's child having wavy hair like hers since her hair has no edges, and Owen's son's hair has a bit more of a wave to it.

Using clues from the dialogue in TOT, I am going to explain my case why the couples will be Luke/Cathy and Ose/Sheila. Gil/Roomi is pretty much confirmed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Luke/Cathy:

Luke says "I like girls that are hard-working and energetic!" Which set of adjectives could possibly describe Cathy better?

Cathy says "I haven't found the right guy yet." Is this possibly becuase they live so far away and haven't come in contact that much?

Also, who has the patience and skill to deal with Luke's hyperactivity, Sheila or Cathy? Cathy.

Also, it seems that Cathy has the nuturing attitude that Luke would crave and she gets excited about things, just like how he says he loves in his 10 hearts same gender/already married dialogue.

Also if you look at the bangs of the Luke-girl... it looks almost exactly like Cathy's bangs, just a little more angular.



Owen/Sheila:

Owen says: "I like people who are skilled at their chosen art" Obviously referring to Sheila's dancing.

Sheila says: "I'm interested in one guy, but I don't want anything to distract me from dancing just yet" Sheila is a little anti-social and usually hangs out at the pier or the bar -- especially at night. Who loves to drink? Where's the only place to get alcohol on the island? (Owen's drunk-ness was taken out in the US version, but he expressed a huge love of drinking in the Japanese one.) They could TOTALLY cross pathes at the bar.

Sheila also says "I hate people who are chatty." That basically cancels out Luke from the start.

I just don't see Sheila into a guy like Luke, especially with his maturity issues and hyperactivity. She just would not be able to take it. I can, however, see her falling for the 'hunky' and relativly mild-mannered Owen. She seems like she would be into that classic 'manliness' that he so exudes. She also might be drawn in by how he mines gems being her materialistic self ;)

Also, if you look at the hair of the Owen-kid... the bangs don't look like ANYTHING that could have come from Kathy. That sweepy sort of curled hair belongs to Sheila. It's also more vibrantly red that Owen's hair.

Kathy has a chosen art. horse back riding. Kathy and Owen actually come in contact. sure Luke likes girls that are hard working and entergetic. but he also talks about how every girl in town is a babe. of course hes gonna go for the bodacious beautiful dancer. and I dont think bangs matter. you people look at bangs of kids. childrens hair doesnt have to resemble their parents!

and you said COULD cross paths at the bar. Owen and Kathy DO cross paths. like everyday. she hates people who are too chatty but as soon as shes at three hearts she begins saying "I normally dont like talking to people but I like talking to you." if shes close enough to you she likes talking. and ya maybe Selena would go more for Owens type. but Owen wouldnt go for Selena. hes the quiet nice big guy. he wants a girl whose nice, mature, and is down to earth. he wants Kathy. kinda like the pairing in MM where we had, the big nice guy who was the grandson of the blacksmith (Bob) who liked the blonde nice horse riding bombshell (Gwen). well that pairing worked in 2 games before. itll work in this.

and as said, childrens hair doesnt have to resemble parents. the daughter you have with Candace, the hair comes from nowhere. the son you have with Candace, the hair looks like Chase's! the son you have with Gill the hair comes out of nowhere. Vans hair (color of Jins) bangs and style from nowhere. Matts hair. (mixed color) hair style out of nowhere. Dakota (Maya's color) hair style out of nowhere. Angie (Julius's color) kinda bangs of Candace. Heath (Phoebe's color) hair style out of nowhere.

if anything though, Luke's daughters hair looks EXACTLY like his giving no hints on the mother.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) Sorry, I think I believe Sesshylovers a bit more since it has a bit more dialouge evidence behind it. Selena would never be happy with Luke I don't think, and i think the logical way that Natsume would think would probably be "Kathy can go to Owen or Luke. But Selena will hate Luke but like Owen." In MY opinion, not saying its right or wrong, Kathy, YES, can be a potential girl easily for either, but in a way she's almost put to be with Luke for the sheer fact Selena would most likely never go with Luke.

Its not a fact of who would be a BETTER couple. Its a fact of which is the more logical couple. Kathy and Owen are plenty logical! Yes they cross all the time, but the characters don't have to cross all the time to be together. Gill and Luna rarely ever even encounter in the game, yet they are love interests. Kathy and Owen ARE perfect, but so is Luke and Kathy. But Selena and Owen could work, while I believe Selena and Luke would not. Thats my opinion seeing it from a game-planners point of view in my mind. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Also, I think Cathy specifically says that her realtionship with Owen is strictly non-romantic. They are just friends, explicitly stated by the game.

well maybe it is more logical for Selena to like Owen. but ever since June of 07 ive thought its Luke and Selena and Kathy and Owen cuz thats what people thought it was. I may not have as much evidence but I stand by it.

(Kinda) Alcohlic Man + A Barmaid who both share an interest in horses = A likely couple (And maybe a slightly drunken wedding)

Luke and Selena also make sence because they both are a little childish (Her being a little selfish and him being... Kinda hyper) so they may connect though that...
