Since I'm finally getting used to where everything is, you can feel free to ask some questions about the gameplay. Though, I can't confirm who all the rival couples are, if the God and Goddess are marriageable, etc. because I haven't gotten far enough to trigger any kind of heart event.

I did encounter a "random" event, though, between Selaf and Yuba. Then Selaf sent me on an errand to get some wool and green herbs. I think I'll unlock some new clothes once I complete it...

Did you get a choice to play as Akari at the beginning?
Do you get to choose from 3 farm lands like before?
How does your farm look like? (please post a screenshot, if possible!)

Okay, here's how to unlock some of the characters:

1. Goddess
-Walk down the path behind the shops in the Garmon' Mine District and you'll activate that cutscene with the crazy killer animals
-Go to Cornet Carpentry and talk to Dai. He'll tell you about the tricks he taught Boss (his dog) and says that you can use an animal whistle to tame animals... but he doesn't know what happened to it. He thinks he might have left it at the Grocery Store
-Talk to Bran at the Grocery Store and she'll say she has no clue what you're talking about, and that Juli might know.
-Go find Juli and he'll say that the other day he saw a shiny orange thing, but when he took a closer look it was just a toy, so he gave it to Chloe.
-Go to the Blacksmith and talk to Raksha. He says Chloe and Ose aren't around and are probably somewhere in the mines.
-Go to the 10th floor of the mine and talk to Ose, who says that Chloe loved the animal whistle, but wild animals started following her around and he thought it was dangerous, so he took it away. He gives you the animal whistle.
-Go back to the path with the animals. They will now let you go to the Goddess Spring, where you meet the Goddess and she tells you about the elemental bells.

2. Luke
-Go to Cornet Carpentry and talk to Dai. He'll talk about how his son went to the forest and hasn't come back
-Visit the main shop at Horn Ranch and you'll activate a cutscene with Hannah, who says that Kapara went into the forest saying something about a witch and a bell
-Go to the Tam Tam Forest and talk to Kapara. He says that the gate to the forest is locked, so he can't get in.
-Go back to Cornet Carpentry and get the key to the forest from Dai.
-Go back to the forest and unlock the door. Be sure to bring an axe with you or you can't go in.
-Keep walking through the forest and you'll eventually activate Luke's intro scene.

3. The Witch
-Continue deeper into the forest until you come across a strange house. Go inside and you'll have "met" the Witch.

4. The Wizard
-Once you have met the Witch, you can visit the Wizard at his home in Harmonica Town.
-He says the Witch has been put under a spell and it can only be broken with another spell. If you bring him Hibiscus, Good Corn, and Perfect Butter, he will be able to break the spell for you.

But Luke and Cathy probably wont have a child together since in ToT she likes Ose, she is probably the Ose-looking boy's mother. I bet Luke gets married to Sheila and has the daughter (I only think that because the only other three women who dont have children in that picture are Sheila, Leena and Mai).

see I thought she liked Owen too. but I had like 12 people telling me Kathy liked Luke. I think were right though. =]

Since we're on the subject of the kids, My guessing goes: Gill's daughter, Juli's daughter, and Luke's daughter talking,
Owen's son and Jin's son chattin',
And Phoebe's daughter all to herself by the window.

yes the witch and wizard have names (at least in japanese) but are too complicated to even try translating into english.

lol. I used logic earlier to explain it. ToT came out in Japan in June of 07. it came out in US in october of 08. thats about a year and four months. that means we should probably see EAM in the us in February or March of 2010.
