Anyone here playing STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl, or Clear Sky?
Basically, if you have any interest at all in shooters, horror, survival, science-fiction, etc (things like that), then you should be playing this game. It's also got great graphics, intelligent AI, slight RPG elements, realistic gunplay, and is the most atmospheric game I've ever played. It got an average user review of 8.2/10 on Metacritic, but I'd give it something slightly higher, like 8.8 or 9. |

I would recomend Tales of the Abyss too, and if you like the fighting system in KH, then you should play Radiata stories. The only issues of the game is that you can't explore some large land and the battle system is honestly a simplified version of KH's and Star Ocean combine.
I agree that Grandia 2 was amazing. I never played 1, but I have played 3. I felt that the start of 3 was better than the start of 2, but once half of your team leaves you forever, the game goes downhill quite fast. |

Drakengard. :] It's a rather dark game with an amazing storyline and pretty messed up (but cool) characters. <3 It's one of Square Enix's less known games. It has a sequel, which isn't as great as the first one, but still epic~ (and less twisted (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) )
Oh, and for those who have a PS3, Soul Calibur IV is SO ADDICTING. |

Okay, you asked for it. Here are some of the games I would highly recommend:
PLAYSTATION 2 GAMES: Dark Cloud 2 Rating: Teen Notes: Dark Cloud 2 is a colorful game full of fun stuff to do. The dungeons can get a bit tiresome, because you have to go through them a lot to get enough experience to fight the next areas opponents without being killed off quickly. However, you get to build towns, get people to move in, go fishing (also participate in contests and fish racing), play spheda (a golf like game), and more fun stuff that make the game great fun! Persona 3 Rating: Mature Notes: This game is kind of on the darker side plot wise. During the day you attend school and build relationships and at night you fight shadows in tartarus. It has a great storyline and is definitely worth a couple of playthroughs. The fighting style is turn based. Steambot Chronicles Rating: Teen Notes: Steambot Chronicles is a loose game where you can do pretty much whatever you want. You fight with robots, but on the side you can make money by mastering instruments. You can rent an apartment, decorate your apartment, participate in a stock exchange, woo a few eligable candidates, and more. The story isn't the best, but this game is insanely fun! Suikoden III Rating: Teen Notes: Suikoden III has an awesome storyline that can be played from multiple viewpoints. The story also changes a bit based on some of the options you choose (just a little though). One of the highlights of the game is that you can collect up to 180 characters that add something to your castle (yes, you get a castle). Everything from mini games to another person to add to your fighting party. 3 different fighting styles! Suikoden V Rating: Teen Notes: See Suikoden III. This one doesn't have the multiple viewpoints, but it still rocks! 3 different fighting styles! Turn based, strategy based, and one on one duels. Star Ocean: Til the End of Time Rating: Teen Notes: Fun fighting style with a pretty good plot. You also get a lot of side quests. It has multiple endings depending on which characters like you the most. Okami Rating: Teen Notes: It kind of, in my opinion, has a Zelda like feel. It has beautiful graphics! Okay, I'm tired of writing now. I'll stop here for now. If you want recommendations for another system I can recommend some from just about any of them. |

First on my list would be The Legend of Zelda series. The only series that repeats over and over, yet never gets hackneyed. Which one? All of theeeem. :B Well, actually, these are the ones I would suggest:
Ocarina of Time (for Nintendo 64 or Nintendo Gamecube) Rated E: This was the first 3-D Zelda game, so the graphics aren't great, but if you ask me, the gameplay is pretty sweet. Not only do you get to go through 3 dungeons as boy Link, but you get to go through around 6 main dungeons as adult Link. Don't quote me on specifics, but in general it's great for people who like action-packed role-playing games and complex storylines. The Wind Waker (Nintendo Gamecube)Rated E: This game is pretty much an island adventure. You get to travel the seas, kill monsters, and conduct a magical wind orchestra. What's not to love? Twillight Princess (Nintendo Gamecube and Nintendo Wii)Rated T: This one has very good graphics, and a pretty good story. It's basically a collaboration of different Zelda games, so if you like all of the others, you'll probably like this one. Also, it's like virtual reality if you have the Wii. I never understood why it was rated T, though. Phantom Hourglass (Nintendo DS)Rated E: I loved the interactiveness of PH. You get to touch things with the little stylus, and for me that's great. It was a nostalgic Zelda game, yet slightly fresh and new. |

Baiten Kaitos and Tales of Symphonia Are AMAZING GC games that have incredible graphics and very fun gameplay! They are both RPGs and are fantasy fighting games!
The Zelda series! Especially Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess. These games are also fun fighting fantasy RPGs! The story is great and the gameplay is awesome! 'Nuff said! |

Goemon's Great Adventure(N64): Omg, I rented, and rented, and rented the heck out of this game. Never found it in stores, but I miss it so much. It had cute/funny little cut scenes, and small jokes. Playing... Yui(?) was fun, loved turning into a mermaid.
Animal Crossing games, Wii version soon to be released c: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-iia.png) Umm... Kingdom Hearts Series lol, The Sims, Nintendogs, Banjo Kazooie/Tootie, Snowboard Kids(z?) 2, IDK can't think of any games I really like right now. |

Have you tried Tales of Symphonia or Tales of the Abyss? If not you need to pick one of them up. Symphonia is for the GameCube and Abyss is for the PS2, they are probably two of the best games out there.
