Nintendo has just announced a third release to the DS series, which is aimed towards competing with the iPhone. It has not one but two cameras on it; an SD card attachment for music and photos; an online shop to download games; an internet browser; screen that are 0.25 inches larger; and it is thinner :0 I want it, I want it. It comes out next month in Japan and next year elsewhere.

The lack of the GBA slot kills this thing for me. But if the internet uses the SD card to make it possible to do the same stuff without it... I'm sold. Especially since I still never bought a Lite.

It doesn't bother me at all because I have a micro GBA (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) .. I think I may buy this when it comes out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) .. Are all the games it advertises still playable on the normal DS? I will buy it if not, but if so, then I will just stick with my old one. It isn't like it is so necesary to have all of that stuff (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

Oh man, that trailer is too good. I loved the part where he knocked the croissants out of Glass Joe.
Mac looks a little weird though, like they copied the Jason drawing. |

From the sound of it, it doesn't seem like this has any new games, so I think I will pass. If it did something like allow you to use GBC/GBA games in it, then I would buy it in a heartbeat. I was really disspointed when I found out that the DS didn't do GBC games many years ago.

Haha, I just bought a DS Lite back in March. The DSi isn't doing anything for me though, so it's all good. Then again, I am still upset about getting my DS when I did because I didn't know they would be releasing the Silver Metallic one months later (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cowannoyed.gif) I would have waited to get it instead of getting the Black one.
