Hey!
Well I am thinking of getting IoH, and I am not sure because I've been searching info on it, but some places are saying that the game has really bad controls and it's pointless... I just want to hear from you guys BOTH pros and cons about IoH. I really want to hear about the controls too and if the game is better than HMDS, Cute and FoMT. I figured that the best info would come from yall! Be honest Thankz |

I'd say get IoH.
Pros: It's got good graphics, it's more interesting, and it's more old school HM. Cons: Some seem to find it hard to get used to, it's a bit picky about how often you talk to people.(in other words you can't ignore them, then think they'll take your gifts later) I myself like the controls fine. After playing an hour or so they were second nature. |

Yeah. People complaining about the controls just aren't even trying. As for the game itself... it's Harvest Moon. There's some annoying things they changed, like how crops work, but overall it's fine.
edit: It seems the main method of getting island development is just building stuff. Bridges, better roads, and so on. |

I think it's just a matter of getting it developed. Like getting a lot of people to move in and getting the roads fixed up and bridges built. But I've only gotten to 17% so far I think. Been busy.

IoH is really good. It gets an 8.5/10. But for me FoMT beats it. I guess it depends on how you view the games.

The controls bug me, crops are hard to do, fullness will bother you in the start, ect, ect. =[

I'm still on the first. Its actually not that bad. I'm not bored, its just hard for me to pick up Harvest Moon games. But if you start and play long enough, you will get addicted. If you got some extra cash to get rid of, go for it.

Ya I think I might ^.^ It seems like about 90% of the people who bought it are happy with it. Besides I am a fan so I am pretty sure I'll like it.

Pros: Nice graphics, fishing is awsome, more like an HM and not a spin-off, cool upgrades for the island, ect.
Cons: Controls are annoying, Hard to get used to, Crops are hard to raise, ect. |

I suggest IoH. It's a fun game to play after you get used to it.
Pros: fishing is fun, graphics are great, overall a fun game, really unique rather than jsut a spin-off Cons: stamina/energy is hard to keep up (you have to eat so much food), mining is difficult, crops are hard to raise, can't control weather, you can't ignore people and expect for them to accept your gifts. You have to talk to them for awhile and then they'll accept your gifts. |

The sequal will have better controls and be gently caressing awesome. For now just play HM64/BTN/FoMT/B&G or HMDS, if you don't mind glitches.
