I think there's probably only so much specific stuff you can contribute, and there really isn't much of a need for more than the 3 medals unless people like, start making music or videos or something. That or we just have a ton of contests and stuff and winners get medals.

I still hold to having Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for Most Posts and Most Profile Views. And, like, special medals for doing stuff in Any Colour You Like that the admins think is special. And the admins could, like, approve games like the one Lindstrom made, and give a medal to the winner. Or you could, like... (etc. etc. etc.)

I'm guessing they aren't interested in making post count stuff because post count doesn't necessary reflect upon post quality, could potentially just be posting a ton in the "What are you listening to?" thread and that doesn't really do much to bring about the community thing like answering questions or finding new information about the games does.

I was thinking I would start running monthly Smash Bros and Mario Kart tournament things, and maybe if those catch on they'll tack medals onto the winners.

I still don't. =\ I mean, like Lind said, you could be just plainly posting in threads that are easy to gain post count. As for Any Color, we have those, they are chick medals. If you are doing well, and people like what you are doing, you get some chick medals. And as far as those games, ehhh, maybe.

I still like Lindstrom's idea of having mounthy video game tournaments.

I do like the idea of referrals medal. That would boost activity around these parts of the woods.

The monthly games sound fun, but I am not sold on giving out medals for those. Not everyone has a wii or can play online, it wouldn't be 100% fair.
