4. Jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, etc. are not fashionable. Don't think of them as being really cool and stylish because unless they are heavily embellished, they are not. They are function. You will never be "well-dressed" in just jeans and a t-shirt. Nothing wrong with wearing them, but it's not really fashionable or impressive.

For guys in high school, jeans and t-shirts aren't that bad, but if you're going out somewhere and you wanna impress some ladies, yeah you'll wanna wear something nicer. Pretty much, wearing those kinds of things make you look like a kid, whereas nicer clothes make you look more like a man. Not sure how old you are, AlKo, but I'm 21 so dressing like a kid doesn't do me much good.

Oh yeah, most significant of all is there's no way you're gonna appeal to everyone, though that should be obvious enough.

I'd rather be unique than what's considered in.
._.
liek cardigans.
it's in this year.
but I wore them like what, 2 years ago?

I'm currently into korean street fashion.
but meh.
I'm not into what's "in" in korean fashion.
I prefer to make my own outfits.
rather than to make something SIMILAR to what the koreans make.

as a fashion designer in the making,
I have to take out what's considered in.
and make a new fad.
(:

Hmm.. I like fashion, but I tend to have my own style. :] I like dressing in business casual (blouses, dress pants/designer jeans, sweater vests, etc), especially since I'm a senior in high school this year and you never know when interviews might pop up. I'm always told to "Dress for success", so I try to put a bit of effort into how I look. After all, first impressions count the most. If I'm feeling a bit lazy, I still try to dress neatly. I'll admit that I buy clothes from brand name shops, but I don't wear anything with their logo plastered all over it (unless it's barely noticeable) because it makes me feel like a walking advertisement. ]:

As for advice, I would not reccommend:

1. Over-sized/baggy clothes. Especially for girls. Since females have certain... "assets" than males, we tend to look rather wide when we wear big clothes. Guys in baggy clothes just look sloppy.

2. Wearing clothes that are too tight. Please, there are some things that we simply DON'T need to see. Try to find clothes that fit you well.

3. Unnatural hair color. It's fine for anime/games/etc, but it looks a bit tacky in real life.

4. Too much black. Don't get me wrong, black is a sophisticated color, but it only makes you look sophisticated when you know how to wear it. :]

5. Fishnet. No... just.. no...

If I had offended anyone, I didn't mean to. I'm simply laying out my opinions and advice. :]
