Did you hear about The Legend of Zelda Flood of the Future? IT is meant to be after Tp but before the Wind Waker and it may not star link as the Hero but a recarination of him it takes place in a futureistic time. it is due to release Next year or in 2010. This was not announced at E-3 2008 Miyamoto was trying to keep it a secret for what he said about Tp and Ph that they would be the last Zelda games. But word got out...

Wasn't that an April Fool's day joke by IGN? And Miyamoto never said anything about TP and PH being the last Zelda games.

YES Ign did make an April fools joke about Zelda. But The Zelda Team decided to actually make a Zelda game in the future but, unlike that fake on Ign you still have a horse and master sword so Nintendo is makeing it. Awhile back when the 64' was out they had started to make a Zelda in the Future but it was cannceled it

We will see but I know that there is no info on it here in America and Canada but one of my friends cuzs lives in Tokyo Japan and he told me this stuff from his Cuz.

I thought that "Flood Of The Future" sounded a bit like a 10 year old made it up in 3 and a half seconds. :/
Looks pretty interesting, wouldn't get your hopes up, though. :P |

Really you would be dissapointed? Does it really matter who you play with? I mean I play for the whole adventure! It would fit if Link werent the main character anymore. But thats what I think.

I would be very dissapointed if Link weren't the main character. And if they ever do a Zelda without him it should be called, The Legend of Zelda: The Missing Link.

I also think that the next installment in the series being in a steampunk-world would pretty much make my dreams. It'd be nice to see how the world developed in the period of time between every-other-Zelda-game and The Wind Waker. Also, the latest news from Nintendo is that the next Zelda game won't release for "a while". I.e. not by early next year either. |

Call me crazy, but aren't all the Links and Zeldas in the games supposed to be essentially reincarnations (where Ganon is just the same dude who keeps coming back)? Also I had heard Twilight Princess and Wind Waker were supposed to be on different timelines or something.

I thought it was pretty funny in Twilight Princess how Ganon's voice was so similar to the cartoon version. Though I definitely liked his OoT voice better.
