Okay, I've put up a topic to answer any questions you have about Harvest Moon DS, because I've gone through the whole game and explored practically everything there is to explore. So ask anything you're not sure about and I'll do my best to answer it.

1st Q. How did u go through the game without going insane with all the glitches.

The glitches really got on my nerves, but when I found that you couldn't marry the Witch Princess on the glitched version I bought the Red Star version, for the UK. But they took away the gambling, which sucks. Try to keep a back-up on the second file, which you save in at the start of every day. Make sure that you never use the fishing sprite team on the sea in winter, because your game will be dodged really badly.

I haven't noticed that. Perhaps it only does that in your version.

Ok I have a question, Lumina Has A Red Heart In The Corner And I Show Her The Feather And She Says

Why is that???

It's because you need to a) rescue the Goddess (save 60 sprites and she'll appear) and b) buy a big bed so that you can indulge in more censored activities without falling off. I'd recommend reading the manual.

I wanna ask abt the sprite Venus..the one who opens the TV Shopping Channel?
How do I get him/her? ^^;
I tried following the guide by buying items from Karen Supermarket for 10 days..
been doing that until summer 13 and nothing still happens >.>;
any idea why?

It's been known to happen. The best you can do is just buy one item every day without fail, and eventually he should turn up. There's always the possibility that your game is glitched, in which case there's not much you can do. Buy something every day whenever you possibly can, and if he still doesn't turn up see if it's the same in a new file.

However for this to occur, I bought the TV set.with the dvd players and the dvd from Van
and then the next day, the sprite comes out..:o

I'm not sure whether that is a factor, but it could be. Interesting.

On the subject of the DVDs, if you're lucky you'll be able to buy two, possibly three with a FoMT connection. Unless you're playing the Japanese version, in which case you get all the DVDs and the subtitles so that they're actually worth watching. Those lucky Japanese.
In any case, keep pestering Van and one day he might have another. Bribe him with chocolate. It might help, I don't know.

The DVD player is vital if you want to marry Lumina because it unlocks her purple and yellow heart events. Once she's on purple heart level and you have a DVD player, she'll knock at the door first thing in the morning and ask to see your DVD player. Once she's on yellow and you've seen the other events, you can find her crying in her room at the manor because Van's run out of stock. Invite her to come and watch DVDs at your house and she'll be ready to marry you once you have her on red heart, provided you've rescued the Goddess and have a big bed. Yeah.

Oh, another thing is..
ever got an event..well it's not exactly an event
but when I called May's Tailoring, I got the option to chat with her..
and one time when I tried to open my shelf, there's this 'ching' sound effect and my character is saying 'ouch!'
do those mean anything? =/

May's Tailoring is exclusive to the Girl's version... You can chat with her occasionally, it doesn't do anything however. I think it's based on your Farm Rank. As for your shelf... Now and again, when you try to open the Fridge, Shelf, Accessory Box or Tool Box there will be a "ching" noise and your character will say ouch. The reasons for this are none too clear. Perhaps you got your finger caught or something. No need to be worried in any case.

I have two DS Cute questions that have been bugging me for nearly a year... Does Kai's Stall open all year round (Or at all) If you marry him? And Grffin, if you marry him does he keep his job or does he follow the trend of lazy husbands and quit his job, leaving poor Muffy dealing with millions of customers without knowing how to make a single drink while Patrick forulates his plan on how to grope our poor little Muffy, plus leaving you without a drink ever again?

I have a question that I really would like help on so I can finish up the game. I have saved enough sprites and the Harvest Goddess gotten the big bed and her heart is red "Why won't Ceceila marry me?" she gets blushed when I talk to her and I am pretty sure I have experienced all the heart events but she tells me she doesn't feel that way about me. I know you can marry her what can I do? please help this isn't my favorite HM game becasue of the glitches but if I can marry her I might enjoy it again I haven't played for a long time because IoH, ToT, RF2, and RFF are more fun.

In DS Cute, do the Mineral Town guys make you move to Mineral Town, or can you continue the game when you marry them?

In HM: DS Cute, if you marry one of the guys, you stay on your farm in Forget-Me-Not Valley.

Also, your game won't be made to end if you marry one of them.

Sorry for not answering, I haven't checked this thread in awhile.

1) I believe Kai opens his stall in summer as usual (might be wrong), but will have a social life like everyone else all year round. And Griffin, that lazy sonofabetch, leaves poor Muffy to deal with the valley's lowlife by herself. That bastard. Even if he is the best bachelor, he has no right to leave Muffy to the sexual wiles of Patrick and Kassey.

2) Stumped here. You sure you have rescued the Harvest Goddess? And you should have seen four heart events, right? If you haven't seen all four make sure you visit her whenever you get a chance to unlock the last one. Other than that, I don't think there are any special conditions for Celia. Maybe you have already seen all her rival events and she's getting married to Marlin. Oops. Should have gotten in there while you had the chance.

3) In the boy version, Natsume were too lazy to do this but in Cute they will come and live with you. Hurrah!

I am positive that I have saved to harvest goddess she is in her pond and Ceceila didn't marry Marlin this game doesn't have rival marriages. Maybe I am just doing something wrong the same thing happened in MFoMT with Cliff he keeps telling me he doesn't feel that way about me. Maybe it has to be a certain season or time in the game I guess I will figure it out someday.
