Thanks. Your the best." He gave me a friendly hug and took off running into the dungeon as dirt went flying into my face.

I took a deep breath. I knew this was a bad idea, but I didn't know it would screw up my life that much. It was suppose to be a friendly little trip into a dungeon with Raguna. Everything before this was perfect. Well I guess sometimes perfection can be perfect heck.

I just slowly walked into the dungeon. They never interested me, so I was thinking to myself, just get it over with. Raguna took out a map of the dungeon we were in, I don't recall him ever telling me the name of it. Oh well. I suppose it doesn't matter.
"Ok, if we are here, and we want to go here..." Raguna pointed to places on the map and dragged his finger from one to another.

I wasn't even paying attention, I get like that when I'm in a place I have never been in before. I saw a small sparkle in a rock that led me to believe something was inside.
Hey, can I have your hammer, I think there is either silver or copper in this rock...
Are you even listening to me?

I walked up and looked around the moist and green dungeon. It looked like one of those really old mansions with moss all over. I didn't see him anywhere, or hear him.
R-r-r-aguna?
Is this a prank? Its not funny. Get out, now.

"H-help..."
I heard a high-pitched scream coming from a narrow hallway with vines lining the walls. I tried to find him as fast as I possibly could but I'm just not a fast runner and I probably never will be. I saw what was possibly the worst thing in my life.
He was laying there, lifeless, blood all over.

I grabbed some cheap, junky cloth off the ground that was about as thick as a paper towel. I wrapped it around his wounds hoping it would at least stop the bleeding. I struggled to pick him up but some how I managed to do it and carried him to the church as fast as I could, which isn't very fast.

Oh dear..." Lara took the body away and gently laid him on the bed.
Mist, lets leave Lara to her work. "
I turned around to look at Raguna.
Okay....

Stella tried to start a conversation to get my mind off it but I couldn't possibly talk about gardening when my best friend and love is over in the next room dying. I just laid down on the bench and close my eyes and tried to fall asleep, forgetting everything has happened. I would awake the next morning and Raguna would be back to perfect health. Perfect enough that we could look back at this incident and laugh at it like it was a silly little joke.. Just... fall.... asleep-----

I cracked open my eyes to see Stella and Lara watching over me like angels, well maybe Lara wasn't an angel. She yells at me for getting paper cuts. I wish she would loosen up a bit.

Why am I here? Where's Raguna? He said we could go swimming at the beach today....

We tried are best to save him. His funeral is Spring 14. "

Its okay. I understand. I'll be leaving now.

When I heard what happened it felt like something died inside of me. I couldn't bring myself to cry. Its just not like me...
