Not sure if there is a thread like this, so hear you go everyone! If you could make a Harvest Moon game of you're own, what would it be named? Where would the setting be? Who would the characters be? It's all up to you! To give you some inspiration, here's some of my creation for this thread.

Description - She is the great grandaughter of vesta herself. Invited to work with vesta shortly after her brother passed away, she happily worked beside her grandmother until an illness one day took vestas life. Now, she works with hired hands at the farm that were chosen for her before vesta passed on.

Family - Sally(Mother)lives in city. Kyle(Father)Lives at the inn.

Description - The new caretaker of the inn once owned by Ruby and her husband, they left the inn to his grandmother when they returned to there world wide travels and never returned. On her deathbed, she left the inn to him and he has taken very good care of it ever since. His grandfather left shorty after the death and never came back.

Family - Uncle Griffin(One of the few remaining characters from the first game)

Description - Sally came to work at the Twilight Bar after Muffy passed away three years before. Griffin is very happy to have his beloved niece working with him at the bar and hopes that some day the right guy may come around for her. He has an eye on you, but isn't sure if you really are the one for her. Maybe you can convince him otherwise?

Home - A tent between the sprites tree and the goddesses pond.

Family - Mother and Father in Po-po-valley. Very close friend of old murrey.

Description - Jason heard about murrey's misfortune in the valley and has finally arrived to help his old friend out. Supplying murrey with food from his hunts, and a tent to sleep in, Jason does everything he can to keep his friend happy and content in his time of need.

Profile: Grew up in a big city as an only child whose parents were always fighting. Once for summer vacation her parents sent her to visit her grandfather, it was there that she discovered her love for animals, nature, and the peace and quiet that only a small town life could offer. Her love for small town life only increased when she saw how well all the parents got along, and the love that they had within their families, she vowed then that that was the life her family would have.
On her eighteenth birthday she wasted no time in searching for a home to move into, seeing the add for Spring Valley she knew that it was exactly what she was looking for.

When Kael is around Alana he is a much sweeter person, and tries his best to only say uplifting things. It would appear however that Kael is starting to open up a little to Pamela.

No one cares much about his plans except for Jessica, Ryan's childhood friend; she tries time and time again to convince him to get a job, so that his future life will be easier. But Ryan is simply to content with his current life to worry about things like that.

Profile: Darius is very sweet, though he can be shy at times. He also has a deep love for animals, and it seems most all animals love him in return. People tend to think that Darius is more shy then he really is, because he is by nature a quiet person, he likes to observe and wonder, rather than participate. This makes him a very great listener, and many people go to him for advice, or just to talk to him. When Darius does speak he does so in a soft, deep, and gentle voice, he never yells, as he is endlessly patient. Darius seems to have taken a liking to Alana, as he brightens up whenever she comes to the shop, and talks to her more then he normally does to others.

When around women however he completely changes, he hardly speaks, and when he does it's often lame sounding or it doesn't make much sense, he is more nervous, and can't seem to look at the girl for very long, and he simply can't seem to stop blushing. This is most likely because of Chris' upbringing, he was home schooled as a child, and the only children that lived near him were boys, so for most of his life Chris didn't know any girls besides his mother, and his grandmother.

Immediately Keiji and his father packed their bags and moved in, it didn't take long for Keiji's father to fall in love with both the town and the people living there. However no one knows if Keiji likes living in Spring Valley, as he doesn't like talking much, and likes talking about his feelings even less. Keiji almost always wears a mask of indifference, why he does so is still unclear even to his father. Many people have begun to think of Keiji as being emotionless, and Keiji is quite content with that. However Laura is determined to make him break a smile, or at least a smirk.

Profile: Alexander is a very observant person, as he finds the human psych interesting to try to decipher. He enjoys watching people talk to each other more than talking to the people himself. Alexander is also the owner of the local library, even though he doesn't like reading much. Truth is he only works there because he needs the money, and he isn't very good at anything other than organizing. Though what he really wants is a job in psychology, however he lacks the college degree to do so, which is why he is trying to raise money. Alexander is a rather stern person who doesn't like failures; he can be spontaneous at times when around close friends. He is also a very calm person, except when someone makes a smart remark about his glasses.

Profile: There is nothing Takeo loves more than money, hence his love for rare objects. Contrary to what many may think though Takeo is actually a decent guy, he never cheats people, and is an all around friendly guy. Takeo enjoys talking with new people, and he is well known for his outgoing, flirtatious, and kind nature. This is probably why he is so fondly thought of in Spring Valley. Many people wait eagerly for the day when he arrives, Impatient to see the new and exciting things from the city that the small town of Spring Valley doesn't have. Because of this business is normally quite good for Takeo, and as such he constantly has said that once he retires he plans to settle down permanently in Spring Valley. There are people who dislike Takeo though, saying that he is hiding something beneath that constant smile of his. Whether that is true or not nobody knows.

Profile: Kain has been a hard worker ever since his father died, since his family needed the money badly, and his mother was to busy taking care of his younger brothers to get a job. So until Kain was old enough to actually get hired he did all sorts of small jobs, like mowing people’s yards, and raking leaves. Kain and his family decided to move to Spring Valley as it was much cheaper then where they were.
Life got better from there on, Kain got a job he loved that also payed good, he would fish, then sell the fish to anyone or anywhere that needed some, and the rest of his family was so much happier, and that made Kain happier as well. However, Kain doesn't talk much to anyone outside his family, not because he doesn't want to, but because he's not sure how to. So he spends most all his time when he's away from home fishing, and so no one’s quite sure what his personality is really like.
Kain often sees Anetta when fishing, as she enjoys boating.

Because of this Alana found that she has a deep love for art, as through it she can communicate without words. Her love for art is only surpassed by her love for her brother, who has always been there for her, and is her constant protector.

The only exception to this is her weekly boat ride, which is the only time she is ever left alone, giving both her and her father a short break. It is most likely because of her sheltered lifestyle that Anetta is the way she is, soft-spoken, kind, and constantly afraid of hurting others.

And though she still misses them, Laura has gotten over it, in fact she is now known as the local tom-boy, always climbing trees, catching bugs, and hanging out with the guys. And though Laura is now loud-mouthed, reckless, and unfeminine, she is also a great friend, she is friendly to everyone she meets, and just like her cousin she has a talent for making people laugh. Perhaps it's because Keiji reminds her of her former self that she wants to make him smile so much.

Unfortunately Ayumi gets very clumsy when she's flustered, and so she is constantly knocking down books, or tripping. Ayumi moved to Spring Valley to get away from her controlling parents, they had planned her whole life for her, what she should wear each day, what job she should get, even who she was going to marry! And after nineteen years of living with her parent and following their rules, Ayumi just couldn't take it anymore. She packed her bags and got on the first available plane, without her parents knowing a thing.

Or hanging out with Pamela and Ayumi, when around her friends Jameila is very kind, girlie, and the obvious leader. Jameila likes to flirt with Chris more than any other guy, as she finds his reactions amusing.

Profile: Suzu was born into a very poor family, they moved to Spring Valley when Suzu was merely two years old. And though they are doing better financially they fear that someday Suzu might be as poor as they were. As such they have been trying to set Suzu up with any rich man they could find, their most recent target is Takeo. Because of her upbringing Suzu loves expensive gifts, and clothes. She is very confident about herself, as her parents have always lavished her with complements. And while Suzu is somewhat of a snooty brat, she likes to play the part of the pure innocent girl. Suzu loves being the center of attention, and also loves being envied, so one of her hobbies is to "innocently" flirt with a guy when a girl who likes him is near. Suzu is not all bad though, most of the time she feels lonely which is why she loves attention. And she is kind to those she likes, she's a great cook, and loves to help her mom out.

Profile: Jessica was born and raised in Spring Valley, as was her father, and her mother. And so Jessica grew up to be a nature loving, cow feeding, hard working kind of girl. There's nothing Jessica enjoys more than helping out on the farm, and then relaxing at dinner after a hard days work. Jessica gets along well with Laura as Jessica is more of a tom-boy then most the other girls, though she likes some girly things, like beautiful dresses, and romance stories. Ryan annoys Jessica because of his lazy attitude, so Jessica tries her best to knock it out of him.
