This game... Is really disappointing. :/ READ MORE IF YOU WANT TO BE MILDLY SPOILED. >:0 Spoiler:
The character creationis stupified, as there are no longer original weapons or fighting styles, instead you a style that a main character uses. :/ They took out chronicles of the sword, and replaced it with this "Tower Of The Lost Souls" or whatever, that's just fighting some opponents clumped together into small groups. Story mode is also really annoying, as it's 5 different stages of three or less people attacking you one at a time. Oh yeah, they also took out the ability to read what's going on, and choose what you want to do. After fighting about... Say 11 opponents, you'll fight Algol, an unexplained random guy who wears kinky clothing. Anyhow, he wields Soul Calibur and Soul Edge at the same time, how he got them, I wouldn't know, BUT THE CHRACTER DESINE IZ GUD SO YEY. [/sarcasm] After beating him with Kilik, I got some crap ending that made so sense at all. Something along the lines of Algol: GAH. I DEID. Kilik: SOUL *insert random blather blather* Algol: GRAHHH *looks like he's doing something important* Kilik: ONOZ Algol: *die* Kilik: I will do my best to control this power. Me: ... What else to complain aboot... Hrrm. OH YEAH. They took out all of those extra modes in Arcade mode and just kept the boring 8 match no story mode. I'll have more to complain about after I play more. D; But from what I've seen, it just seems really rushed. :/ |
