Sonic Unleashed, Will this be the game to bring Sonic back? Options

Sonic Unleashed is the newest sonic game comming out this holliday season! Sonic Team is going back to the roots of old as sonic returns to his straight, back and forth, sence of motion. Although there are several parts in the game where you go into a complete 3D motion, mainly when making turns and grinding, this is surely the thing SEGA needs to bring their mascot back into action. Maybe not first in the gamming industry, but certainly far from last. Not to mention the addition of a brand new sonic transformation! By day a hedgehog, and by night, a werehog! It's a whole new spin on the sonic gamming generation! It's time do dash off with yet another addition to the grand sonic franchise! Can you handle the power of the new sonic?...

From what I understand, all major systems are getting it with the Wii getting some sort of special version. In any case, pretty much nothing can bring Sonic back sadly. Most of it's from just plain bad choices made by SEGA and that alone has tainted him enough that it'll be hard for alot of potential fans to really accept him. =\

Also, Sonic Rush already did the 2.5D thing and I think it worked out pretty well. *shrug.*

Also, here's my opinion on the werehog thing:

Well, sega's mistakes has been due to sonic's creator, mr Yuji Naka, quiting sonic team a few years back shortly after sonic 2 battle was released in america. Supposedly he did this to start his own gamming industry. So basically without yuji's sonic mind making the games, they just don't turn out like they used to anymore...
