Actually, I'm looking for opinions- which is better, Bleach, Higurashi (I know it's very violent, but I can take that) or Death Note? Or is there a 4th one I should check out?

I've never really gotten into any of those. Then again, I haven't really been much into anime/manga at all for a long time. You could try Detective Conan/Case Closed, as it was the last thing I was really into. Then Adult Swim took it off the air because of ratings being low at 1:30/4:00AM. Who would've guessed?
edit: I guess you could try older/classic ones if you haven't already too. Like Macross/Robotech, Lupin the Third, and, ofcourse, the granddaddy of them all, Astro Boy.
