The Nintendo Network ID is like the FC system in one way: Both of you HAVE to add each other. And there is no notification of requests (AS OF NOW, I WILL UPDATE IF NINTENDO ADDS AN UPDATE), so communication is needed for exchange.

It's for the 3DS, so I can't add friends, but if you'd like it, there you go. The chances that I will ever buy a Wii U are well into the negatives, so this is very likely the only version of Miiverse/NNID that I'll have. |
