So, I'm workin' on winning Renee's heart, right? I finally got her to ask me out to fish in Flute Fields TOMORROW at 16:00. With a grin, I accepted, finished the rest of my chores for that day and went to bed. Then, the next day, my character woke up and I got a notification that I forgot about our date? I went to speak to her and instead of the usual "good morning!" greeting, it was " ... ... ...".

So, I restarted and did it all again. I even made double sure I read that she had said "tomorrow". Even in case the game lied, I went to the water wheel at 16:00 and she wasn't there. She was in Horn Ranch. So, I went to bed and I still got the same "forgotten date" notification. :C

What the heck?!

When you get Renee's heart level up to 5, you can ask her on a date. Go talk to her early in the morning, and she'll ask you to meet her at the Flute Fields Watermill at 16:00.

When you arrive later on in the day, the two of you will go fishing. Don't be late! If you don't show, Renee will be very upset and you will lose hearts.

From the sounds of it, even though it may say tomorrow, it's the same day, I guess. I don't own this game myself, by the way. ;[
Maybe you were late? I'm not too sure. Anyway, video of the date in case.
