*freakout mode* I am going to be in hog heaven come the release. So first of all, to be adressed, this is to take place 70 years after the finale of the firs series. Aang has died and passed on the duty of Avatar to this young, supposedly rebellious waterbender named Korra (who may or may not be a descendant of Sokka so as to avoid being coupled with the only living airbender who is the child of Aang and Katara) According to the Wiki she's already mastered three of the elements, and only needs to learn Airbending now. There's some kind of rebellion with Anti-bending (the thing Aang did to firelord Ozai to seal his firebending. Apparantly anyone, even non benders, can anti-bend) And she has to stop it. That is the extent of my knowledge. for information about the series which I don't feel like explaining in full detail right here, see the wiki |

That last episode was just... utterly depressing. ;_____;
Arggg I'm seriously so in love with Lin's character, though. She inherited so much badassery from her mum and she's just a;dgma;gla;g,l great. FANTASTIC. And although I'm still a little on the fence with Asami's character... man, I feel for her. That stuff surrounding her and her pops was just... wow. I kind of knew she was going to do what she did, but even still, must've been terrible. :< Aaaanyway, this episode kind of made me eat my words a little. I'm liking the direction this season's going in, and I like the serious and tense atmosphere that contrasts so much with that of Last Airbender. Also, I guess the characters are growing on me a little... but just a teeny bit. :') |

That last episode was just... utterly depressing. ;_____; I honestly thought that Asami was going to be an equalist when I first saw her. I hated her at first. Then I saw her and her little personal NASCAR/drag racing track, and I thought "maybe she isn't so bad after all..."Arggg I'm seriously so in love with Lin's character, though. I never imagined Aang would grow a beard, but it works for him. |
