 Do pets even do anything? |

Aside from make the house seem a bit livelier, do pets have any sort of effect on the game, or are they just there to take up space like your spouse? Considering how friggin' long it takes to befriend the things in this game, I was hoping that there'd be some sort of reward for, say, getting a puppy for Chase or a kitty for Candace. Or maybe she'd like a bear.

Since I don't bother about befriending them and I haven't played in quite a while, I'm not sure. I'd tie a bib on it and make it drink it's milk from a bottle. This is what real babies are made of. B] |
