*freakout mode* I am going to be in hog heaven come the release. So first of all, to be adressed, this is to take place 70 years after the finale of the firs series. Aang has died and passed on the duty of Avatar to this young, supposedly rebellious waterbender named Korra (who may or may not be a descendant of Sokka so as to avoid being coupled with the only living airbender who is the child of Aang and Katara) According to the Wiki she's already mastered three of the elements, and only needs to learn Airbending now. There's some kind of rebellion with Anti-bending (the thing Aang did to firelord Ozai to seal his firebending. Apparantly anyone, even non benders, can anti-bend) And she has to stop it. That is the extent of my knowledge. for information about the series which I don't feel like explaining in full detail right here, see the wiki |

Hahahah! I know what you mean. Unfortunately, she's just been terrible at expressing sadness so far. It's hard to sympathize with someone when you can tell they don't really know what they're doing. The only point in which Korra could have redeemed herself in my eyes was kind of ruined by her. At the end of episode 4 when she's sobbing in Tenzin's arms showed a little of her development-- she learned about her folly and became wizer and yadda yadda. But like, her voice actress was just... FAKE SOBBING all over the place, and it made me feel awkward rather than sympathetic. :<
Amon, huh. I don't know. I like your theory. It's definitely possible. :B Spoiler: I mean, it makes sense, because at the end of Last Airbender, it was a point that Ozai's bending was taken away by Aang. This fact that bending can be taken away is highlighted again this season by Amon, so there could definitely be a connection between the two. I can't come up with any suggestions as to why, though. :9 Arg and as for the ships, I know right! ;_______; Asami really pains me, and I don't like her much. Something about those insanely beautiful female characters who just appear and sweep the male leads off their feet... irks me. But on the other hand, I don't really like Mako either, so I don't mind him being swept off his feet as much... this is weird. X'D All in all, I would be okay with Asami and Mako as the canon, but I feel like they're probably going to put Mako with Korra in the end. ;___________________; I'd prefer the canon to be Korra and Bolin, myself, but... bleh. Don't see that happening, as he's just the kind of... "Sokka" character, if you know what I mean. They're probably going to get some random girl in the series to just come along and get with him. Imo, Bolin and Korra would make a heck of a good ship though. They could show Bolin's struggle in getting his older brother to stop overshadowing him, his development from a silly boy into a MANLY MAN, and they could get him to cast aside all the girls that fangirl over him and choose Korra instead (WOULDN'T THAT BE CUTE HE COULD CHOOSE ANYONE BUT HE CHOOSES HER??? IDK I'M LOSING IT). :D And as for Korra, she could like have her little crush on Mako be unrequited and then have Bolin be her shoulder to cry on and then they'd fall in love and asg;lag;dadlgm- GOD SOMEONE STOP ME I'M LIKE...
