*freakout mode* I am going to be in hog heaven come the release. So first of all, to be adressed, this is to take place 70 years after the finale of the firs series. Aang has died and passed on the duty of Avatar to this young, supposedly rebellious waterbender named Korra (who may or may not be a descendant of Sokka so as to avoid being coupled with the only living airbender who is the child of Aang and Katara) According to the Wiki she's already mastered three of the elements, and only needs to learn Airbending now. There's some kind of rebellion with Anti-bending (the thing Aang did to firelord Ozai to seal his firebending. Apparantly anyone, even non benders, can anti-bend) And she has to stop it. That is the extent of my knowledge. for information about the series which I don't feel like explaining in full detail right here, see the wiki |

Tenzin's voice was done okay, I guess. I'm not sure if they could've done anything spectacular with him, since he's just... well, Tenzin.
But Korra, though, I was completely disappointed with. I was expecting some quality voice acting, what, with all the action surrounding her character, but it just never came. Even with Aang, when he was bending and whatnot, you could hear his actor putting in the effort to have it sound realistic and as if he himself were bending. Her voice actress was extremely awkward and didn't seem too into what she was doing. The exclamations sounded empty and emotionless and she could've done a much better job. |
