You can't give them all five. You can't separate items that are stacked; however, since you can only give one gift per day, it will automatically only give them one. The principle is also the same for items that you throw. You'll only throw one and will still be holding what remains of the stacked item.

Oh okay, thanks so much! I was pretty confused there for a sec, haha. Btw, another question. I'm try to make connected rows (I think they're called irrigation trenches?) on my field to grow crops. It worked for me the first two times, but no matter what I do I can't make anymore. I didn't know what I did to connect them either. Help? I really would appreciate it! I'm confused, and looked it up but no tips were really working for me.
