I think it's a good game, personally. If you're the type who needs some kind of plot or goal to keep you going, then this game delivers - though the plot is silly as ######. The game has a nice, large map and plenty of things to do to keep you busy until sunset. I rather like the cast, though that's just a personal opinion, and I like a lot of the interesting little additions/changes to the gameplay.

Just expect to get good at cooking and make sure you're always prepared to cook something from each category of dish. Otherwise, you'll find yourself rather like me and completely fucked during one of the cooking contests that raises your friendship with the other village.
