For the films, at least.
The first one was released in 2001. I was ten years old! And now I'm about to be 20. It has taken a decade, but I've enjoyed watching them throughout the years. They've grown up with me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Have they grown up with you? Is anybody excited to see the finale? It's gonna be 4 hours and 38 minutes long. Midnight releaaaaase! |

I also had not realized that JK Rowling was still such a huge part of the movies. That made me happy. Some directors take book based movies and twist them into something completely different. The Eragon movie, for example. While being a good movie, it was screwed up so royally that they managed to totally back themselves into a corner in such a away that it would be literally impossible for them to continue. The HP movies nearly did the same thing (eg, cutting out Kreature, Dobby), but managed to avoid disaster by keeping Rowling as an advisor. |
