So, I'm sure we've all noticed that RS has been pretty inactive (or at least not as busy as other times).
I believe it might be a good idea to start brainstorming some ways we can help RS get back to its busy days. Maybe we could come up with some big event that members can participate in? Maybe we can think up ways to advertise? Thing is, we need more people to seriously provide ideas on whatever. Again, serious ideas. Or maybe you don't think we should do anything, because it just won't help? |

When you go to the forum home, why are all of the Harvest Moon topics pushed down towards the bottom of all the different forums? I know that a few of the topics appear once you become more of a veteran, but this is a Harvest Moon forum, so shouldn't that mean that all the Harvest Moon topics should be more towards the top? :/ I have to bring this up as well. Whether we're posting lately about HM or not, it should be up top. Otherwise, no one's going to make it a priority. People bound to sign up are coming for the HM area for the most part. Signing up, then all the other stuff appearing, then scrolling all the way down to find the HM part, is probably turning them off. (even if you can minimize the other stuff.) Not to mention, having it change like that can be overwhelming to some even though they don't realize it. Especially many of those who are partial to the Harvest Moon franchise. The first thing they should see, is what they had seen as a guest. Then they can scroll and look at all the other goods. Many newer members, at least the ones that get past the sign up, stay in the HM area alone until much later before moving on to the other parts of the forums, if at all. The forums layout should consider the long-term, active members, and all their loyal goodness, after all they keep the place up alot, but it should also consider snagging the newer members, who could possibly lead the HM discussions themselves. |
