So Rune Factory 3 came out today. I'm not sure how many people are going to be getting the game, but I decided there needs to be a topic for it anyways (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaevil.gif) . I pre-order my game so it won't be delivered for at least a few more days (I'm supposed to get it on the 15th lame -_-). I am really looking forward to a lot of the new features though.
Also as Hunter pointed out in a different topic there is an official English RF3 website (RF3 Website). |

QUOTE So who thinks the festivals are too easy? I have won all of them so far. The Wooly and Bean throwing were tough. But the crop and fishing ones are too easy to win. I've only actually tried Wooly Festival. Choosing the right weapon is a factor here, but it's more advisable to make sure you have the skill at 20 or more. With an insane Guilty-Gear-ish combo practice gives you, even a short sword is deadly enough. About the timeline, another post on Fogu mentioned that developers actually confirmed RF3 is simultaneous to RF2. AFAIR, the previous guess was that it's inbetween two games (or, rather, between Frontier and RF2), and it must have partly stemmed from Yue's portrait IMHO - she does look younger somehow. Spoiler: But my, isn't it disturbing - TWO Elder Dragons acting up at roughly the same time... Even if Aquaticus does it for some fridge logic. (on the other hand, maybe he is meant to be defeated rather easily, as he simply wasn't serious - hey, all this bride-stealing plot might as well be a trial!) QUOTE They only have a few lines of dialogue and you can't even give them gifts. They're not even on the freakin list of villagers. Now that's a bummer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cowannoyed.gif) I'm sure the game's mechanics allowed to do otherwise. In a setting where everyone moves around, carries something and can join you for a walk, whatever could prevent Neverland from simply programming the children the same way and locking them for the time being? I really believed it would turn out this way... Another thing to expect of RF4 (it may be implemented in Oceans, but it's a home platform, meaning higher standards. I'm puzzled enough to know that dynamic schedules were introduced not on Wii in RFF, but on a friggin' 5th-Gen capacity handheld! Admit it, they just didn't think about it at the time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) ) QUOTE Also, does anyone know if Evelyn and Gaius (hope I spelled those names right ) ever get married or something? I know about the quest with them after your marriage, but that seemed a bit uneventful. As far as I heard, there are no marriages. Looks like a series policy so far - even RF2 had them purely for the sake of the plot (after Kyle gets married himself, they don't even invite him anymore!). Although this could always change. |
