Um, well, I feel kind of like an idiot posting about this for you guys but, anyways..
Two nights ago... {Thursday night... I think?}, I had a seizure at work, which I've never had before, and to anyone who has ever had a seizure before will know it's extremely f*cking scary experience. Anyways, thank god my manager was with me and I was about to serve a customer when it happened, but my manager phoned my mom first to ask her what to do.... Like, who wouldn't phone 911 first...? Luckily there were doctors staying there, but it's not like they did much besides having me choke on water when I was numb. But atleast I had two extremely good looking paramedics who one actually knew my brother... Weird... And then at the hospital they just did bloodwork while I sta around listening to all the drunks in there..., and they were ready to give me ablood transfusion while I was there because my iron was so extremely low in my blood which affects your sleep and makes you feel tired all of the time {but I've had that for so long that I never noticed} and supposedly will also make you pale, bt again, I've always been pale that I wouldn't have known a difference. But I'm really just making this post so you guys know, because I still don't feel completely right and I did hit my head which the doctors didn't realize and which I only noticed when I got home and went to brush my hair. And I actually feel worse today, two days later, than I did yesterday. So, I see my doctor on Monday so hopefully she'll be able to shed some more light on why this even happened. Bleh. |

Yeah, me aswell, I'm anemic, and they were surprised my doctors never noticed.
I've been like this for years now, the fibromyalgia causes tiredness and no matter how much you sleep you still feel tired, so I've been like this since I was like 10, so I don't remember anything different. What's funny is that my dad's boss has to give blood because he has TOO MUCH iron in his blood, and he actually offered to give me some of his blood... Which sounds so weird but he wasn't joking lol. But I'll probably have to get blood transfusions because it gets the iron into you quicker. I've also always been someone who worries and never lets anything out, like builds things up, and I always feel like a nervous feeling but that's always been me. My mom has been so sick for so long that it's hard not to worry about her, and just being relied upon for things and having so much responsibility makes it hard. That's good that your mom feels better after that. I actually got a phone call this morning that I'll actually be going to the EEG scan {brain waves... strobe lights... gahhh} tomorrow morning instead of October 1st, I guess they had a cancelation and my doctor requested that I should be seen much earlier.. Which kind of scares me. Supposedly it takes over 40 minutes, which I'm not looking forward to, since supposedly it's very uncomfortable and the strobe lights {which I believe are used to either offset a seizure.. But they're basically those lights that will give someone a seizure... Like flicking the lights on and off really fast}, and supposedly a bunch of other really uncomfortable things go into it. Btw, forgot to say in my previous post... Ugh, Chicken, that must've been horrible... Were you alone when you were bitten? Did the dog have to be put down? |
