Reading! Options

Not sure if there's a topic on reading already, but I'll make the assumption that there isn't.

How often do you read? What was the last book you read? Any great suggestions?

I've gotten into reading recently which is quite new to me. I used to really hate it because no books really interested me. I found most of what was around was fantasy which I simply did not care for. However, I've always been into writing and felt it was a necessity that I start reading - if not just to pick up on new skills. So I decided to pick up The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy which I had purchased about two years ago and never finished. For the past three days I've done at least an hour of reading every night, and have just finished reading the book. Quite an accomplishment for me so now I'm on a bit of a high.

I intend to read the read the next book in the series, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe. I will likely go pick it up the next time I visit Chapters.

I haven't finished the book yet, but I read spoilers for the ending before it came out. Heheheh.

Ewwy. I don't like Gale at all. I like Peeta 1012434565445xinfinity times more than him. DX
Guh. He's just like, kind, and gentleeee. And like just freaking amazing as hellll.
It's kind of weird to me that Gale even left such an impression on people before Mockingjay, since he never really did anything at all, other than be the classic "childhood friend" figure that almost all heroines end up with. :\

Pffft. But ack. I hate what happens to Peeta. It's so cruel of SC. I mean, I like the ending. Heheheh. But what happens on the way is just soooo not right.

Spoiler:
He didn't deserve what happened to him because he already gave so much for Katniss and wanted to be with her so badd... But then BAM. He gets taken by the Capitol. And gets like, mind raped cause of her. Ugh. It actually made me cry, that one page where he asks Katniss "And did you love me?"

Oh oh. And, that time when Johanna says that she could hear him screaming from his cell. Ugh. Just ugh.

Fffff. Oh well. At least the ending was slightly favorable for me.

I hope all the Team Hawtness fangirls are happy that Peeta's basically sorta ruined, despite the good ending. :B
