What do you think the next Harvest Moon should be like? Options

Hey guys here is where you can discuss what you think the next Harvest Moon should be like. The characters, the village, etc.

It'd be good to have the ability to alter the future according to your actions, sort of similar to how the Fable series allows you to choose your destiny. I think that the pets you adopt should be more useful, IE dogs being able to herd (I don't have animal parade and I don't know if that's a capability) and fetch, cats being able to hunt (fish, I suppose), bring back pigs truffle hunting, etc. They could add a little more of a seamless world - larger, more to explore. Maybe instead of "explore" I should say have a few towns to visit - even bring back an improved version of the ship that sailed once a week to the city in one of the gameboy versions.

I agree that there should certainly be more characters in the game, and maybe a few different outcomes. I don't know if a hundred would be an ideal number to begin with, but maybe start with a handful and harness TOT's idea but let it continue to grow.

I realize this is a lot to ask from programmers but what the series could use is a group who wouldn't mind spending years working on a game like this. It really could turn out wonderfully if they could. In the meantime they can continue to release games like these - great, but not quite fantastic - to keep fans at bay.
