Harvest Moon Twin Villages As the name suggests there'll be two villages that are at the feet of a mountain, each one with a respective mayor and villagers, and, unfortunately, you can only chose one to live but there's a possibility that you can move from one to the other, but you'll have to return to the one you choose at the beggining of the game to sleep, save... There are the European themed Bluebell, and the Japanese styled Konohana That choice is up to you, and it'll be affected by what exactly you want to do in this game. Bluebell is primarily focused on animals and livestock; Konohana is much more involved with crops, meanwhile, from rice to fruits and vegetables. It'll be your job to become successful in whatever you decide to concentrate on. You'll be able to have a Rice field in Konohana or make sweets in Bluebell! You'll be able to have your own owl, and you can be invited to go on a date! You only have one kind of clothes for Konohana and one for Bluebell. You'll also be able to communicate with another DS and play minigames. And that's not the only news! You'll be able to rise alpacas (llamas)!!!!! You can also select your protagonist's gender, here are they: (IMG:http://i35.tinypic.com/33xv6te.png) (IMG:http://i33.tinypic.com/11c439j.png) Main characters The game's due out on February 25 of 2010. uhm sorry if it is a double post~ but I just couldn't help translating a little bit more *_*
*cough* For the two Villages Bluebell is more focused on raising animals and Konohana is more for crops. In the following I try to figure out whats new for the two sections :3 About Animals Alapacas seem to give you highquality wool. When you ring the bell, the animals will stand in a row...should be easier to work with them ^^ When you catch fish, you can put them in your pond and start feeding them. Slowly they will get bigger and more :3 About Crops New for the crop section is that you have ridges (?) to grow your stuff. You can also design the space of the fields yourself. Since you plow them on grass first. uh, and when you made the ridges you should water it once - it's not clear from the text if this means before you plant your crops or if it's a generall thingy ._. For the water...since there are ridges the water will flow along it~ and you don't have to water that often. Forrice you need to make waterfields (?) so it can grow correctly. Naturally this only works near rivers and water sources. Forest Besides collecting wild crops you can also fish. If you want to have fun you can also use your skateboard or move around the forest on ropes (sliding down and stuff...). I already wrote about the forest animals above....again, because it fits well here... You meet them on your way trhough the forest. If you are nice to them, they will be nice to you as well~ The secret tunnel. You can find stones and minerals there. The Hotspring. You have to find the spring in the tunnel first, I belive. But then you can go there and take a relaxing bath. You can catch insects. You can jump on mushrooms and use them like coil springs. Other new stuff The weatherforcast can now be heard over the radio. Should it start raining apruptly you can see how the villiagers pull out there umbreallas. It's said there are various kinds of things that might happen and add to a nice storyline. WiFi can be accessed from the pond of the Harvest Goddess and you can collect fruits together with 3 other friend of yours. pickled vegetables can be made in the Watermill. There is a big pot for making this. You have a message board in your village, where the village people will post request for Items they need. You canrelocate from one town to the other. Just talk with the major about this. Cost some money though. Having Dates You can dress up to look more lovely for your date :3 The flower on the talking panel will show you, how much your "love blossomed" so far. The color is also important. white - lilac - blue - green - yellow - pink - red ..... sounds familiar, eh? For the heartevent. It seems your canditate might also invite you to a date. Ok, this should be enough :P I tried to cover basic information given on the offical site~ |
