Cosplay Options

I really never thought I would make a topic like this, but going to conventions and dressing up is quite fun even though I've only done it once so far. On that note, this topic is not for making fun of cosplayers.

So, who here cosplays or has considered doing it? Who have you dressed up as? Would like to?

I may be going to Anime North this year and I'm quite hopeful I can dress up as Kurt :]

Now I'm all interested in this anime convention/cosplay nonsense. .///.
I've always wanted to, but was never close to any locales.
Plus this next year may be my last chance to do one, so now I've been thinking.

The only character I've come up with so far that I could pull off without too much bad news bears is Rin Kagamine from Vocaloid. Mainly because her hair is basically identical to mine if not a bit longer, plus she has blue eyes and a fairly basic, appropriate outfit. It's going to take a lot of thought and effort to even somehow get into an event with my over protective mom & scheduling, plus whatever insane work/cost it would take to produce a costume, but it's something that I want to do.
