Cool Neighbourhood Sights Options

What are some cool areas of your neighbourhood, town, or city? Anything you'd love to show someone if they ever visited? What makes where you live interesting?

Try to avoid posting anything that might give away the exact whereabouts of where you live :p That's not the goal!

I was discussing a portion of Toronto's subway with Toaster Boy that I always found exciting. Essentially, you go out a tunnel underneath a large bridge where you are suspended by what may be ten stories above the ground. There is an incredible feel of awesomeness and fear as the subway makes the crossing. I really can't describe it much better, as you'd need to experience it yourself. Buuut, I did manage to find some videos people have posted which almost do justice.

The Hari Krishna (a sect of Hinduism) built this, The Palace of Gold, as a place of worship to Brahman or one of his humanoid manifestations "Krishna". It's very odd to see something of this nature in a place like West Virginia, admittingly, but it's here. There are statues of Krishna are everywhere, and the architecture is just breath-taking.
