What are some cool areas of your neighbourhood, town, or city? Anything you'd love to show someone if they ever visited? What makes where you live interesting?

Try to avoid posting anything that might give away the exact whereabouts of where you live :p That's not the goal!

I was discussing a portion of Toronto's subway with Toaster Boy that I always found exciting. Essentially, you go out a tunnel underneath a large bridge where you are suspended by what may be ten stories above the ground. There is an incredible feel of awesomeness and fear as the subway makes the crossing. I really can't describe it much better, as you'd need to experience it yourself. Buuut, I did manage to find some videos people have posted which almost do justice.

Too bad I almost never go down to Balboa Park, it's one of my favorite places in the city. But my dad doesn't know what "leisurely stroll" means, everything to him is like a list of errands (ugh shopping with him SUCKS). So I've never actually had the time to take a walk and enjoy the history of the place, it's always this-or-that museum. It's pretty far away too.
