how long does it take to make friends.... and how does using other controls help... I have been giving people stuff for days and "rubbing them with another control and it seems to take for ever please help

Has anyone else but me noticed that Elli (from ToT and the Weather Report of Animal Parade and a lot of other harvest moon games) isn't here in Animal Parade anymore?
