READ HERE: THIS IS NOT A QUESTION TOPIC
Saffy raised a good point. We were all doing the same thing. Making silly topics where most questions weren't even meaningful. This is a new take on it. In this topic, you guys ask advice about a situation you have, maybe a personal conflict with your family, maybe you just are torn between what video game what to buy. Ask me, and I'll give you the best advice I can offer. Rules 1. I'm gonna get pretty pissed if one of you guys (You know who you are) are like "XD LENYO WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY SANDWICH?" This is supposed to be a seriously helpful topic for anyone who is a little misguided (el oh el.) 2. Unless I've given you permission (Which I have to a few people,) don't answer other people's questions. This is for you guys to ask, and me to answer. If you politely ask via PM or something, I can let you answer people's questions, too. 3. Don't say things like "Should I tell (Insert other member of RS's name here) to waffle off? Or to suck my coke can?" 4. However, they can be mature questions, since this is for any advice. Staff Lenyo Saffy |

There's definitely a lot to see in Toronto, I will admit. I could easily go for a walk and explore the area or find new places to visit. I don't drive so I'm limited to waking and public transportation unfortunately. A large part of my issue is that I feel uncomfortable being alone in Toronto particularly in some areas close by.
Most of my friends live about a two hour trip from me nowadays. I go out to meet them about once a month for a weekend or so, but it's not something I can regularly do. I also don't want to overstay my welcome. I have some friends in Toronto, but they're either working or we lack in common activities. I suppose that's my own fault for not wanting to do things with them though, but generally opportunities fail to arise. I take them almost always when they do. Not drinking seems to hinder my possibilities greatly. I've considered seeing movies by myself, but I haven't quite stooped to that low yet. It seems my outings consist of either seeing a movie, eating, or going to the mall (and often not buying anything). It bothers me greatly that when Kyle was here we found so much to do by just exploring new areas - now that's not available. I'd like to do some exploring or make new friends, but my fear of being outside alone stops that. I could go to Chapters and read some books tomorrow though. I've started reading lately. I have no idea how long people will be working here for or even when for that matter. I assume it would be about two hours, which means an outing the mall or somewhere farther away for food would work well. Being very picky with food doesn't help either, I suppose. Still though, I have looked through our cupboards and refrigerator and the possibilities really are limited. I can't help but wonder how I survived for so many here. As for job searching I'm definitely working on that. Right now I'm fixing up my portfolio so I can get back to the hunt. I plan to start on January 18th, and I'm very hopeful I'll be working by March. |
