READ HERE: THIS IS NOT A QUESTION TOPIC
Saffy raised a good point. We were all doing the same thing. Making silly topics where most questions weren't even meaningful. This is a new take on it. In this topic, you guys ask advice about a situation you have, maybe a personal conflict with your family, maybe you just are torn between what video game what to buy. Ask me, and I'll give you the best advice I can offer. Rules 1. I'm gonna get pretty pissed if one of you guys (You know who you are) are like "XD LENYO WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY SANDWICH?" This is supposed to be a seriously helpful topic for anyone who is a little misguided (el oh el.) 2. Unless I've given you permission (Which I have to a few people,) don't answer other people's questions. This is for you guys to ask, and me to answer. If you politely ask via PM or something, I can let you answer people's questions, too. 3. Don't say things like "Should I tell (Insert other member of RS's name here) to waffle off? Or to suck my coke can?" 4. However, they can be mature questions, since this is for any advice. Staff Lenyo Saffy |

I appreciate the efforts to make a new topic for a change. Finally this forum is starting to see my original intent. Although, I still expected there to be question topics for particular interesting circumstances about each other.
As for advice, I've been contemplating what I should do tomorrow. It might sound silly, but I find myself stuck at home most of the time and I completely hate it. Tomorrow there will be people coming in to do repairs so I really do not want to be here all day, doing nothing, with strangers around. What suggestions might you have that consist of going outside and doing something different for a change? For the record, I do live in the city so I have a fair bit of options I'd assume. However, I don't feel like traveling all that far for no point at all. I'd also like to do something more exciting than just going to the mall or getting something to eat. Unfortunately, doing things by yourself leaves few options I find. On another note, I'm awfully bored of what I eat. It seems I eat the exact same meals at the same time every single day with next to no variation. Were I living on my own I'd just buy some new food or try new alternatives. I'm living at home where my parents do the shopping. I'm just so tired of having no variation, and at that many of the foods being high in sodium that I would rather not eat them. How can I find new meals to eat? Should I just go out everyday for food of sorts? That's not a great option either. I kind of rambled there by the looks of it. But hey, solve my boredom! |

QUOTE I kind of rambled there by the looks of it. But hey, solve my boredom! WHERE IS A PLEASE MISTER? I appreciate the efforts to make a new topic for a change. Finally this forum is starting to see my original intent. Although, I still expected there to be question topics for particular interesting circumstances about each other. As for advice, I've been contemplating what I should do tomorrow. It might sound silly, but I find myself stuck at home most of the time and I completely hate it. However, I don't feel like traveling all that far for no point at all. So for your first question: Staying at home would be the last thing I would want to do, also. ANYWAYS, I've found myself in a similar predicament a while back. First of all, have you ever seen the sights in your town? I realized when I stopped and looked around the other day, I didn't end up getting back home until 3 hours. And do you usually drive places? Walks are invigorating and can last a long while, even if you're by yourself. Another alternative would simply be phoning a friend and going out to a restaurant or something, maybe you could even just go over to someone's house and watch a movie. Heck, you could even get together with someone and go SEE a movie. And hey? Who says you need to GO with someone? You can go by yourself! Have you seen Sherlock Holmes? That was a pretty good movie. And I've heard Avatar is really good. Plus, you can always see Princess and The Frog again. There's never enough times to see that. If you feel like it, you could also go to a library or something. There's no such thing as too much reading! There's always an interesting book to be read. And heck, you can even find interesting things to do at home. School MIGHT be cancelled tomorrow, but I'll still be home later and we can do stuff. Maybe you, Rog and I can watch a MOVIE together when we're back from school. I'll answer more on that subject when you answer this: How long will those guys be there? Second question: Hm... I'm not really sure it's easy to ANSWER this. We all have different tastebuds, so it's not like I can recommend something. If anything, I think you should try and ask your parents for something specifically or something. Maybe you COULD just go out and try something, but that costs money, and who likes to spend money? And maybe there's something in your HOUSE you haven't tried yet? Had there ever been some kind of food you promised yourself you would never eat? You'll only know if you try. One more thing I can add to help BOTH these problems for future reference, is that you might want to try and hunt for jobs again. Your life would change COMPLETELY if you could get hired at a well paying job. A man with your skills and such HAS to be able to get somewhere. If there are some kinds of problem that make it impossible, though. Iunno really. Since there were so many questions, and I really want to come up with a good answer, there's one post per question. I already got Saffy's permission to double post. |
