I just got an HDTV and I plugged my Wii into the TV, all ready to play, but I was a bit mad that the picture quality is sort of jagged. Like not as crisp and clear, I guess?
I heard there's a component cable for the Wii by Nintendo and was wondering if anybody has it? Does it help? |

I have my Wii with the component cables. Yep, folks. It's still as ugly as sin.
Next-gen, Nintendo promised a HD capable system with better online too. Let's wait it out. This gen will be over soon. |

So a game might look more realistic, it doesn't mean it looks more interesting necessarily. I do enjoy many of the low-budget games that wouldn't exist if HD was mandatory. Every Xbox 360 and PS3 game look the same to me, though a lot of 3rd party Wii games look pretty crappy. |
