I just got an HDTV and I plugged my Wii into the TV, all ready to play, but I was a bit mad that the picture quality is sort of jagged. Like not as crisp and clear, I guess?

I heard there's a component cable for the Wii by Nintendo and was wondering if anybody has it?
Does it help?

I have my Wii with the component cables. Yep, folks. It's still as ugly as sin.

Next-gen, Nintendo promised a HD capable system with better online too.
Let's wait it out. This gen will be over soon.

I don't find it ugly at all. High Definition means nothing when your art direction is uninspired. So a game might look more realistic, it doesn't mean it looks more interesting necessarily. I do enjoy many of the low-budget games that wouldn't exist if HD was mandatory.

I'm having lots of fun with my Wii, I just wish Nintendo would be releasing more games now, as well as 3rd parties.

Is it weird that I like the Wii's graphics and will be sad to see its generation go?

Guitar: Because, I've always found it aggrivating that I'll buy a DSLite, and then as soon as I get one, they come out with a new DS. It's annoying that as soon as you can get the new thing, they come out with a new one with more 'shiny' features. Why not save these features up for the next console? :\ I dunno. It just annoys me.

I bought a DSLite a week before the DSi came out. Didn't bother me because I knew I'd never use the camera, and I would have to spend like 50 more bucks anyway. Point is that my DSLite was tailored to my preferences, and someone who would prefer a DSi wouldn't have to wait years until the next system is released.

Those are exactly my sentimonies. Every Xbox 360 and PS3 game look the same to me, though a lot of 3rd party Wii games look pretty crappy.
