What games do you love to pick up time and time again? You know, those games that give you that warm feeling whenever you play and you always enjoy the experience? :)
For me there's Earthbound and Lunar that first come to mind. Both RPGs, but I just absolutely enjoy every bit of playing them. There's certain charm and feel that is absolute bliss. In Earthbound, the game starts with Onett and Twoson, both of which I heavily explored as a kid when I never understood what an RPG was. Lunar was the the main RPG series I really got into and I personally like to credit it for drawing me into game development. Though I've beaten Lunar twice already and its sequel once, I still desperately want to get around to playing them again. The beautiful sprite work, the story, just all of it comes together so nicely. There's some other games I'd love to play again, but at the moment I'm heavily into playing Earthbound again. I guess comfort games play a lot on nostalgia. You can just forget everything else and enjoy the moment. |

I'd have to say New Super Mario Bros Wii. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Does that count? It's been making me think of the past so much. Kind of like what Lenyo said, my brother and I played it before he sort of stopped hanging out with me.

Perhaps in a few years if you've picked it up a few times then it would qualify. I just don't think it works yet D: But that's my definition. |
