Crystal and I came up with this. Obviously, we aren't very close with our grandmothers. Are we the only ones?

All my grandma does is complain nowadays, even though there's nothing wrong with her. Whenever I went over there all I heard about was my cousin. Her grade average, her boyfriends, her trips, blah blah blah . . .
Then, Grandma would quiz me to test my education, just so she could see if I was as smart as my cousin. She liked to tell me my hair is a mess, and that I should brush it. My hair's frizzy, and there's nothing I could do about it, but Grandma would brush and put it in a ponytail that was always practically impossible to get out. Whenever I went somewhere with her, she curled my naturally curly hair. She hates what I wear too. Once I had to go dress shopping with her, and I was wearing shorts and an over-sized t-shirt. She wanted to buy me something just to wear while I shopped with her (but I wouldn't let her)! Then she got mad at me because I didn't like any of the dresses she picked out because they were too low cut. I she wanted me to dress like my cousin. Yeah, my grandmother had a favorite, basically. Then she made a big mistake and told my 'perfect' cousin she looked fat. Now nobody in the family is talking to her except my dad. She's a little bit nicer to me now that perfect cousin is mad at her. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |
