My grandmother had that book and it was shelved in the room I stayed in, so I would read it when I spent the night. Never read the Warriors, although I bought some for my brother. I did love the Redwall books growing up, have you ever read those? I'm so happy I'm not the only one to have read the Once and Future King! But if you liked it all in one volume, I suggest seeing if your library has The Sword in the Stone and The Witch in the Wood by themselves. It's almost like reading a different book - especially with The Witch in the Wood. I think I might look and see what books Stephan Lawhead has written on King Arthur, once I get through all the other books I've got out of the library right now. I think I've got the first Redwall book somewhere in my room, but I've never read it. I know a tiny bit about the books though, I saw bits and pieces of the show on PBS years ago, and I've read the summary on the book. I can't decide if it's something I will like or not. |
