So, back when I was a young, young whipper-snapper gas was only $1.19 a gallon, and there was a movie that disgusted the heck out of almost every Nintendo junkie in the world.

It was called "Super Mario Brothers", made by you heard me right, Disney. It was totally live action. The movie was a HUGE flop, but I love it, and I think it may actually be among my favorite movies.

Shigeru Miyamoto got together with the Disney team to create a Mario movie that was a story of its own. It didn't follow a game plot or anything. It was like it's own thing, and that's what most people don't understand.

The movie's main stars are Bob Hoskins (The guy from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?) as Mario and John Luguizamo (You've probably seen him in several places, but you're probably not sure where) as Luigi.

You kids know you want to watch it.

Anyway, moral of the story, does anyone remember/enjoy/hate/etc. this movie? I want to know if I'm the only one who totally LOVED it.

Eh, I saw part of it when I was really little. I know my parents said it was lame. :\ But I own one part of the LoZ cartoon series. At the end of the disc, there's some dance with this guy dressed up like Mario. Singing some Mario song or something. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
