You may have noticed we no longer have a "book club" forum for RPGing anymore, I removed it because this forum as a whole isn't really set up for a proper RPG. It's not really as fun as it could be since you only have like two members participating. However, Marie (aka Akie, elder admin of Ranch Story) has a sister Harvest Moon forum, which is a full fledged RPG system and is better suited for the overall RPG experience. So I ask you all to stop by Ocean of Stars and check it out, dive in and have fun RPing! The link is in the Special category of these forums, or click here to visit..
EDIT: My apologies who's existing RP topics may have been cut short. =\ I hope you all understand, and see in the long run that it's better with more people and with an adequate RPG system. Thanks! |

Good, I'm happy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif)
Should try to avoid references to the real world or technology so much maybe so that people can make up their own minds about how they see the world of Harvest Moon, perhaps? For technology maybe keep it to what has been shown already in Harvest Moon. |

For technology maybe keep it to what has been shown already in Harvest Moon. Well, we've *tried* to keep technology to a minimum, and we have a list of items that are and aren't allowed, but people complain so much about it sometimes that we often have to re-write the list of things allowed and things banned. XP Particularly, we have to keep adding things to the "banned" list. (We nearly had to ban a member once because he was driving a car everywhere in and around the village. Then we had another incident involving cellphones.) Our "allowed" list is mostly based on the games, and we added karaoke machines and older game systems (though few use either of them) because people have specifically asked about them. But things like cellphones, computers, etc. aren't allowed at all. Cars are allowed at a minimal level on the mainland, but not at all in the village. |
