I constantly have dreams in which I'm trying to fall asleep. And it is incredibly annoying, because I never know if I'm asleep or awake. Of course, when I'm dreaming, I'm trying to fend off some really strange distractions (once it was an adolescent tiger continually clawing my blanket. My family doesn't even own a cat.), but I don't know they're strange, because I'm dreaming.
And I have recurring dreams of having bit parts in preteen movies, most of which don't even exist. Which is strange, because I really don't like cheesy preteen movies and I have no desire to act when I grow up. What scares me is that it's recurring. Dx And once I dreamed I was Angela from Tree of Tranquility. x_o I had been playing for about five hours past my schedule-dictated bedtime, okay? And the world was full of big-headed 3D model-people, and Lumi said I was smelly. ;-; Apparently, I've been imagining Waffle Town from all sorts of different angles, because it all seemed pretty real. A friend of mine claims that he trained himself to think of light switches as he's falling asleep, so that when he dreams, there's always a light switch. So his dream-self flips it, and if nothing happens, he knows he's dreaming because the lighting in your dreams will not change. I don't know if it really works, or if he's making stuff up, but try it at home, see if it does! :D |
