According to PokeBeach.com there's significant reason to now believe that there is a new collection of Pokemon to be announced soon :D Perhaps come the next movie we'll be seeing some new ones. They just love to keep making more, don't they?

I hope the next generation comes much, much later, after they have gotten some fresh, better ideas. Generation Four was a huge disappointment to me. Most of the pokemon either were too cartoonish for me or seemed horribly uninspired. Ignoring Rotom, some of the other pokemon of Generation Four need work. For example:
-Pokemon, including the monkey-with-its-butt-on-fire and the weird, spring-tailed house cat, did not impress me. -Not only did they do a skunk pokemon, they had to call it "Stunky." -What's with all these legendary pokemon all of a sudden? By the way, is it me, or does it seem like a good chunk of Generation Four's pokemon were composed of evolutions and pre-evolutions of pre-existing pokemon? I have just grown disenchanted with the pokemon series (game wise, I stopped watching the show a while ago and I never played the card game). Generation One was wonderful, Generation Two was great, Generation Three was good, and Generation Four was poor. And if the pattern continues, Generation Five will be bad.
