Okay! So! Torchwood takes place in Cardiff, Whales. It's about a secret government thing, that takes care of all extraterestrial things. It's really good. :] It's a spin-off of the show Doctor Who. You might not get a few things if you've never seen the last 5 episodes of the first season of Doctor Who (which is also a great show), but you may be able to understand it. Torchwood is made up of five people.
Captain Jack Harkness (who's basically the MAIN character, and from Doctor Who): The Boss. Gwen Cooper: The heart and one who has the most of a life. Ianto Jones: Some call him The Suit, because at the beginning, all he does is make the tea, and doesn't talk much (seriously, when he first talked, I went, "OMG, HE SPEAKS!!!!!" Owen Harper: The Doctor (not THE Doctor, from Doctor Who. He's a dr.) Toshiko "Tosh" Sato: The Computer Wiz. She's awesome. There's also Rhys Williams, who's not a part of the Torchwood crew, but he's Gwen's boyfriend (and later husband). I highly recommend it, though it does have some "awkward" parts. And it has a bit of slash in some parts. D: I just hold up my hand, block the image, and ignore those parts. x6 |
