Harvest Sprites, Whats with the lip locking? Options

Ive found two pictures where one of the harvest sprites are kissing collin....why? I mean...did they change collins character or what? Heres the pictures ive found

Why is everyone kissing Collin?!!

Hey, Collin's a sexy fairy, we all know it to be true. Though... Daren didn't seem to like it afterward.
Besides, Collin's always been the joker. I think it's well within his character to volunteer to do the kissing. He's just being silly.

I wish they wouldn't change it. D< I don't wanna see Corrine the Harvest Sprite. It's just... off. Besides, if the Sprites didn't have male names, I'd assume they were genderless.
Of course, if they're going to change the sprites' genders so that everything's absolutely heterosexual, they'd switch up Daren. His name is Dana in Japanese, after all, and call me crazy, but I always thought that was mostly a girl's name. From the looks of it, though they'd probably have to throw in Allie, too.

The better option would be for everyone to just get over themselves. I can see crazy-protective parents going, "OH MY GOD THOSE TWO FAIRIES KISSED THIS GAME SHOULD BE RATED M FOR MATURE VERY VERY MATURE BWAAAAAGH!" Well... maybe that's an exaggeration. But they'd probably get complaints.
So I think they should leave it. :3 I think they're used to complaints by now. Not that they handle them well... eh, on the one hand, I'd like to see the barrage of complaints happen, but on the other, I don't know if Natsume can handle it.

Also, knowing Natsume, if they tried to remove the Collin/Daren kissing scene in the God's and Goddess's weddings, they'd probably botch the thing and make them unmarriable. Or it would end up doing something weird, like killing off your buckwheat crops when the snowstorm blows west-north-west and your wife's got an itch up her nose. :/

They address theirselves with boku and oira in japanese version, which indicating they're a male, except they're a bokukko, heh
But it will be the universal 'I' in english version, and I doubt the parents will bother to know what's their gender when they see them kiss each other

People should just take it easy and stop being so paranoid over everything in games, from simple name changes to 3 seconds scenes
