The concept was brought up, and I decided I could do it easily enough since I got the guide. I'm still playing RFF and Klonoa's coming out soon, but again, the guide. Hopefully it won't be too tough to stick to. Also, the reason this isn't in the other "Let's all play Mother" topic is because I'm still in the middle of the first game on there. Anyway... let's meet the family.

Hinawa

The gentle and protective mother who's currently tending to the twins while Flint takes care of the livestock back home.

Flint
Father and loving husband, Flint is quiet and reliable.

Lucas

A bit of a weakling to be sure, but a kind and gentle boy.

Claus

Unlike Lucas, Claus is energetic and out going, though he's still a good kid.

Boney

Though far from a vicious protector, Boney is still a dedicated and lovable family pet.

Dear Flint,

Just like you said they would, the children have been running around the mountains and fields tirelessly since the moment we arrived.

Claus is as daring and full of energy as ever, while Lucas is still a bit coddled. But neither one seems tired of playing at all.

My father seems sad to say goodbye to his grandchildren after seeing them for the first time in so long, but we should be home by this evening.

I had forgotten how nice and refreshing the mountain air is. You're always covered in smell of sheep back in Tazmily village, so I really wish you could be here to take in this air.

The next time we visit, let's ask one of the neighbors to tend to the sheep so we can all come up here as a family.

Claus, Lucas, and I were always thinking about you. When we get home this evening, I'll start cooking some of your favorite Omelets right away.

The Clayman was tough, but mostly absent-minded. Duster didn't have too much trouble eventually kicking him down, while Wess mostly just threw socks at it.

This is where I hid it. Duster. This is the "Certain Important Item" I had instructed you to bring back. It seems to be known as the "Egg of Light" or the "Hummingbird Egg." Truth be told, not even I know anything about this egg. The Hummingbird Egg is a ball of secrets inside secrets that are inside even more secrets... Or something like that, supposedly, apparently.

And now the ball of secrets is needed. If this wound up in the wrong hands, the lid on the secrets would come undone, and... [She pokes the egg] ... Bad things would happen.

Just what sort of hope - or calamity - is hidden away in this egg? Not even I know... In any case, the Hummingbird Egg is our secret.

But doesn't it seem kinda ridiculous that the egg of a tiny li'l hummingbird holds all of the world's secrets?

Indeed, it is quite ridiculous. But what's most ridiculous of all is the moron standing right there. Duster. This egg gives off such a thick scent of secrets that's so concentrated it almost reminds me of condensed milk. Yet, you couldn't even catch a single whiff of it! That's how much of a moron you are! You're a failure as a thief!
